IIT - JEE New Pattern for 2013

The new pattern to be followed by IIT has undergone a lot of criticism. The educational authorities have made the selection process trickier, leaving the students in a dilemma of focusing on three stratums which was previously restricted to just one level. This new format may come into effect with the consent of the Ministry.

The pattern to be followed by the aspirants appearing in 2013 IIT-JEE examination consists of two examination i.e. JEE- Mains and JEE-Advanced Test and even if the aspirant is lucky enough to cross these hurdles he/she will have to perform much better in the academic examinations where the cut off has now been increased, which previously was above 60%. Therefore, only the chief 20% scorers will be entitled to take the exam.

So the challenge before each candidate is, to head from the JEE-Mains examination and enlist oneself among the top performers to qualify for JEE-Advanced Test. Even if the candidate has overcome these stumbling blocks his/her future in IIT depends upon the performance in Intermediate Examinations.

Following this new pattern will ensure the pick of the bunch entering the most honored institutions of the country. The aspirants will have to work more arduously to reach their goal, like it is rightly said that finest things are received with struggle. As we are well aware of the quote by Norman Vincent Peale: “It takes struggle, a goal and enthusiasm to make a champion”. Therefore, the new pattern ensures that being an IITian is all about being intellectual, smart, focused and hard working.
